| The airport has a Fixed Base
Operator (FBO) - Unicom frequency 122.7; Chapman Aviation
Services, which offers Aircraft Maintenance, Charter
Flights and a Flying School; Mile High
Parachute Club - offers first jump courses, tandem jumps, free fall
training and rigging of parachutes; Mobility
Lab - manufacturing/ designing of
parachutes and related equipment; St Group International Inc., and
AAA Repairs which
specializes in major structural repair and modifications to
fixed and rotary winged aircraft;
Thermoenergy Building Inc.. which handles the construction of
hangers; and Garner Aviation,
which does aerial photography and handles aircraft storage.
The airport has
created two private hanger subdivisions. The first one has 28
hangers completed and a second one is expected to be completed by
the end of November, 2010.
The airport's major sources of revenue are fuel sales and land leases.
Jet A and 100 LL aviation fuels are available from the land side of the airport
and 100LL is available at the seaplane base. Airport staff is available for
re-fuelling every
day of the year during normal working hours. Should you arrive after hours,
staff can be contacted on pager 613-780-4720 via the Terminal
phone which is accessible at all times. If prior notice is
given, staff will be on site for your arrival. There is no
call out fee. Commercial Landing Fees are minimal at $31.50 with no landing fees assessed to regular traffic. |
